Andddd We're Back

I know for the past couple posts I've said I was going to get back into blogging and then never did. Well, here I am again and it's for good. We've been computer-less for a couple of weeks because our old one refused to turn on and wouldn't even charge.

Now we're set up with a new Mac....my first Apple! I'm so excited to get started again!

This time it won't just be about the Mommy stuff. I'll blog about everything on my mind. I hope it's interesting!

A Year in the Life of Landy

This has quite possibly been the fastest year ever. Our life has changed so much since my little man came into this world at 12:47 PM exactly one year ago today. Yes, we've had many sleepless nights (sometimes weeks), but when I snuggled my little guy to sleep tonight, it's like those tough times never happened. I kiss the top of his head, where tufts of blond hair lay, and I think about how blessed my life is. I couldn't be any happier. Every day, his sweet personality shines through. Sometimes he's mischievous but sometimes all he wants to do is be lovable and loving.

One YEAR Old- My Baby is all Grown Up!

No more months to count. My big boy is now onto the "years"! I can't believe how fast this past year is gone. It feels like it was just yesterday we were in the hospital. Landon is now a walking pro. He doesn't crawl at all anymore. He has his own big boy walking shoes for walking outside. He says "mama" when he's in distress or wants to snuggle and "dada" when he wants to play....I wonder why!? He has seven teeth now and another on the way on the bottom.

Life in transition

We officially said "good bye" to our apartment of FOUR YEARS (!) on Saturday. It has been hard for me to let it go because we've had so many good memories and life changes in that apartment. 

We both took the entire week off prior to our last day for a "pack-caction". Who knew it would take 4 whole days to pack up all of our stuff! We jammed as much as we could of our stuff into a 10 x 10 storage unit until we move into our new apartment next week.

With one more week until we move into the new place, right now is a strange period of transition. We have no place to call "home" and even though we are staying in the same building we used to live in, it feels strange and foreign. I'm really hoping this next week goes by really quickly so we can settle into our new place. Counting down the days to our second part of the move!
